Join the community.

Become a member to use the space and its tools, or a supporter to help keep the lights on. We're fully run by volunteers, and 100% of membership fees go toward running the space.

How it works

From first visit to full member

  1. Visit during open times

    Have a look around and chat to the members. Visiting is always free.

  2. Join as a part-time member

    $40 a month, plus a signed waiver. Your first three months are probationary.

  3. Build up three months

    They don't need to be in a row. There are no contracts, so you only pay for the months you want access.

  4. Committee approval

    Once the committee is happy you're ready to use the space yourself, you can apply for full-time 24/7 access.

Good to know

Before you join

Under 18s

All tool-using members must be 18 or older. Children are welcome with a guardian who is an active member. A guardian can supervise one child at a time, and only the guardian operates tools.

NDIS

We're volunteers, not a registered NDIS provider, and can't accept plan-managed funding. If a carer would like to join as a responsible member with their client, drop by for a chat about options.

Our standards

Using any tool needs a paid membership and a signed waiver. We keep a positive atmosphere and high standards of behaviour, and may decline or cancel memberships if needed.
